The Dorset Clean List

You book our time. You choose how we use it. Your home, your priorities, your Clean List — and no wondering what your cleaner did with the two hours.

Book your first clean

The usual way is fuzzy. This isn't.

Normally you book a cleaner for two hours, they arrive, and they decide what needs cleaning. You come home and wonder why the bathroom wasn't touched, why the bed wasn't changed, or why so long went on something you weren't bothered about.

With a Clean List, the cleaner doesn't decide what matters. You do.

Before your cleaner arrives you give us a list of exactly what you'd like done, in priority order. Your cleaner starts at the top and works continuously down your Clean List for the time you've booked, ticking off each job as it's finished.

If we finish the whole list, brilliant. If your list turns out to hold more work than can reasonably be done in the time booked, you'll still know exactly what was completed and where your cleaner got to. No guessing, no wasted time, no wondering.

How it works

Step 1

You write the list

Before your cleaner arrives, you tell us exactly what you'd like done — and, more importantly, the order you want it done in. Number one is whatever would annoy you most if it were still there when you got home.

Step 2

We start at number one

Your cleaner doesn't wander round deciding what looks dirty. They start at the top and work continuously down your list for the time you've booked.

Step 3

Each job gets ticked off

As jobs are completed they're ticked. The list is left at the property, so the moment you walk in you can see exactly what was done and where your cleaner got to.

Step 4

Next time, you reorder it

Windows didn't get reached? Move them to the top for the next visit, or book a 4-hour Clean instead of a 2-hour one. Your list changes week to week, and so does the clean.

What you're actually buying

We won't promise that a set number of rooms, or a whole house, will be finished in two or four hours — every home and every job is different, and a kitchen nobody has had time for in six months is not the same job as a kitchen cleaned last Tuesday.

What you're buying is straightforward: two or four hours of focused professional cleaning against your own priorities. £70 buys two hours. £120 buys four. You decide what gets done first.

How this works with our guarantee

Our 24-hour put-it-right guarantee covers anything ticked off as completed that wasn't cleaned to our standard. Tell us within a day and we come back and redo it, free.

It doesn't cover jobs further down the list that there simply wasn't time to reach — those aren't a failure, they're a queue. Move them up next visit, or book more time.
